Georgetown offers a variety of shopping, salons and many dining options. There is also dining on the waterfront wiith a view of The Kennedy Center. Additionally there are Historic House Museums and gardens. Young Jack and Jackie Kennedy lived in Georgetown and Jack Kennedy’s inaugural Speech was written in his friend’s historic home. The closest metro is Foggy Bottom.
